RSA, The Security Division of EMC, announced its collaboration with leading-edge mobile technology providers and developers to build additional layers of security and access control into next-generation mobile solutions by integrating RSA mobile authentication technology into their products. RSA mobile authentication technology is designed to enable innovative mobile use cases that incorporate strong security without sacrificing usability.

PhoneFactor, Inc., a leading global provider of multi-factor authentication, announced the availability of revealing new survey data. Last month more than 300 IT professionals were surveyed about the security of their corporate networks, and their responses indicate an overwhelming lack of confidence. In fact, more than half were unwilling to bet their own money that their corporate network would not be breached in the next year. Having the right tools in place, such as real-time alerts and stronger authentication, increases confidence enough for most to raise their bets.

Rapid7 and Modulo announced they are working together to deliver a holistic view of threat and vulnerability risk, correlated with broader regulatory, policy and compliance risk analysis. The integrated solution enables organizations to identify and manage business impacts as part of a risk management program.

WinMagic Inc., the global innovator in disk encryption, launched and will demonstrate SecureDoc Version 5.3, which adds wireless capabilities to its market-leading PBConnex pre-boot network authentication. SecureDoc v5.3 will also introduce two other key features to simplify data encryption and management: SecureDoc OSA, which provides seamless Self Encrypting Drive (SED) integration, and Removable Media Container Encryption (RMCE), which makes it simple for users to securely transport and share data.
