- Zeus Strikes Mobile Banking. Researchers at S21sec have confirmed a malware threat to mobile banking devices. In late September, the Zeus Trojan hit mobile banking users at 12 Spanish banks;
- Last week's LinkedIn phishing attack didn't deliver Zeus. Instead, it delivered a less well-known cousin, Bugat. The move to Bugat is important, researchers say, pointing to the emergence of Bugat as an attempt by cybercriminals to diversify their attack tools.; and
- Tokenization: A PCI Sidestep? Could tokenization cut PCI security-standards compliance out of the picture? If the card data is taken out of the transaction, the PCI rules may not be so applicable.
