Philpott is CEO of the IASME Consortium Ltd, which focuses on information assurance for small companies and the supply chain. The consultancy worked with the U.K. government to develop the “Cyber Essentials” program and was awarded the contract to be the sole NCSC Cyber Essentials partner. Philpott is also founder and manager of the U.K. Cyber Security Forum, a not-for-profit organization leading an initiative to train the unemployed in cybersecurity and helping them to find employment.
